Why Massage Works
Massage works naturally and aids the body’s own process of healing. When we choose massage we become receptive to change and this alone is a powerful act of self-healing.
Massage promotes relaxation; it activates that part of the nervous system which restores, heals, rests, digests. It increases circulation of blood and lymph, increasing oxygenation, hydration, and elimination of wastes from the tissues. Massage breaks up adhesions that have formed in muscle and fascia, freeing up movement and releasing pain.
Rarely do we encounter such an opportunity for hands-on treatment and close attention to our physical challenges as we do when we choose massage.
Rarely are we so profoundly affected in an hour’s time as by 60 minutes of bodywork.
Swedish Massage with Sarah
The classic massage, Swedish uses long, gliding strokes, kneading, compression, stretching, and oil or lotion to rub and relax the entire body. A soothing massage with powerful and widespread effects on the body, its muscles and soft tissues. It stimulates circulation, digestion, and immune systems. This massage eases both physical and mental tension, and is a wonderful form of relaxation.
60 minutes, $100
90 minutes, $140
Deep Tissue Massage with Jeff
Deep Tissue Massage alleviates pain and optimizes function and mobility. Jeff uses deep, slow pressure to release adhesions between muscles, connective tissues (fascia) and bones. These are highly effective treatments that promote change and address acute pain and dysfunction. Deep Tissue Massage is an essential part of any rehabilitation program.
60 minutes, $100
Deep Tissue/Integrated Massage with Sarah
After warming and softening the surface muscles, the therapist can access deeper layers of muscle and fascia using more and sustained pressure, and slower strokes. A variety of techniques are integrated in order to treat particularly tight muscles, repetitive strain and posture patterns, and injuries. This massage relieves pain, restores range of motion and function, and is a valid strategy for acute or chronic pain and dysfunction.
60 minutes, $100
90 minutes, $140
Rolfing/Structural
Integration with Jeff
Rolfing is a holistic process which profoundly improves overall health. The practitioner manipulates muscles, fascia, and connective tissues, reorganizes these tissues toward better function and mobility, and reestablishes the body’s natural alignment. Customarily done over a series of 10 treatments, each session covers different areas of the body while maintaining focus on the individual’s specific needs.
60 minutes, $100
What is Rolfing?
Rolfing or Structural Integration is a hands-on approach to release deeply ingrained patterns of tension and strain. It is highly effective in treating everything from neck and back pain to impaired mobility, repetitive stress injuries, and other chronic tension.
The Rolfing process goes well beyond conventional therapies and other forms of bodywork to balance the body in gravity for lasting relief. What’s more, many people find the Rolfing experience to be an excellent way to keep their bodies flexible and adaptable-- able to meet the daily stresses and changing demands of life. In fact, professional athletes and dancers have long-used Rolfing to enhance their performance.

Before and After
Whatever your profession, passion, or age, Rolfing/Structural Integration offers you a proven pathway to greatly enhanced physical flexibility, vitality, and balance.
